We don't run advertising profiles, sell personal information or use marketing cookies. We process only what's needed to run the site, protect it and reply when you write to us.
Who is responsible
Paradiso Escape Editorial is responsible for information processed through paradisoescape.com. Privacy questions and data requests can go through the Paradiso Escape contact form.
Information we collect
Information you submit
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected subject, message and any relevant page address you choose to include. Please don't submit confidential or sensitive personal information.
Essential technical information
Our hosting and security systems may record standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, response status and referring page. That helps us deliver the site, diagnose faults and spot abuse.
Fonts and external requests
The site currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those files, Google may receive technical information including your IP address and browser details under its own privacy terms.
Why we use information
- To answer questions, corrections, source submissions and collaboration enquiries.
- To verify and improve editorial information when a reader reports an issue.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and contact form.
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims when necessary.
We process contact information because we need it to respond to your request, and because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure, accountable editorial site. You're not required to use the form, but we can't reply without a usable contact address.
Service providers and recipients
Information stays with the Paradiso Escape editorial team and the service providers needed to host the site, secure traffic and route email. That includes our server infrastructure, Cloudflare and the private mailbox that receives contact messages. We don't sell contact information or hand it to advertisers.
Some providers may process technical or message data outside your country. Their contractual and legal safeguards apply to those transfers.
How long we retain information
Contact messages are normally kept for up to 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, unless we need them longer for an ongoing editorial matter, a legal obligation or a security issue. Technical logs stay only as long as we reasonably need them for operations, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Cookies and analytics
Paradiso Escape doesn't currently set marketing or analytics cookies. If analytics or advertising tools are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before they're used.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what personal information we hold, correct it, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, or receive a portable copy. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Use the contact form and choose “General question” to make a privacy request. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice when the site or its service providers change. The effective date at the top marks the current version. For any privacy question, contact Paradiso Escape Editorial.
