About Paradiso Escape: a new field guide built around an old question

A new site, not a recreation

Paradiso Escape is an independent publication about immersive escape rooms, interactive storytelling and experience design. We're inspired by the ambition of the original New York Paradiso project, and we're writing new guides, analysis and field notes for readers now.

We want players to know what they're walking into, and creators to think more clearly about how story, puzzles, space and participation fit together. The experiences that interest us most give every element a reason to exist inside the same fictional world.

How our content is produced

Paradiso Escape is researched and maintained by the Paradiso Escape editorial team. Historical case studies draw on archived records, contemporary reporting and specialist coverage. General guides mix source research with our own analysis of interactive storytelling.

Software and AI-assisted tools may help with research organisation, early drafting and technical checks. Published pages are reviewed for clarity, internal consistency and source support. We don't use automation to invent first-hand visits, ratings or quotations.

Editorial standards

• Fact and analysis are separated. Historical claims are sourced; design interpretation is marked as interpretation.
• No invented experience. We don't imply that we visited or tested an attraction unless the page clearly says so.
• Commercial relationships are disclosed. If affiliate links, complimentary access or sponsorship are introduced, the relevant page will say so.
• Safety information is practical. Where participation involves fear, contact, accessibility or physical constraints, check the operator's current guidance.

Corrections and updates

Immersive attractions change, relocate and close. If a factual detail is wrong or a source has moved, use our contact form and include the page URL plus whatever supports the correction. Substantive updates show up in the page's modified date.
